Prince Sports LLC, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of sports clothes and accessories. Founded in 1970, it currently distributes its products around the world in 6 continents and around 90 countries under its trademark “prince” through its partners and representatives, while its products have been honored by famous tennis players.
Mr. Angelos Kaleas filed a Greek trademark application no. 262233 «PRINCE & design», which Prince Sports LLC opposed based on its famous trademark “prince”. The Administrative Trademark Committee accepted that the trademark “prince” of Prince Sports LLC is a famous trademark and rejected the Greek trademark application through decision No. 198/2022, despite the other party’s limitation of the goods covered by the Greek application. The Committee’s decision is irrevocable.
